If you have a passion for delivering excellence in customer service, professional communication skills, are a creative thinker capable of developing unique solutions to meet a range of challenging problems, want to work in a highly motivated team environment and thrive working and learning on industrial and utility sites around the country, then this could be the next step in your career.You will manage our Power Generation fleet in Belgium which consists of gas turbines going from 5 MW to 590 MW, steam turbines of up to 1000 MW and their associated generators. Our Siemens Energy fleet needs to be at its best level of reliability and availability for our ‘Utilities’ customers.Your Profile as Sales and Project Manager:- Ideally 3-5 years project management and/or sales manager experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge/experience in rotating equipment will be considered an asset.
- Analytical thinking, decision making, result oriented and good communication skills.
- Good command of Dutch, French and English in both written & spoken is mandatory, German will be an asset.
- Broad commercial and contractual understanding.
- Develop and maintain both a robust short term (1-2 years) sales opportunity funnel for service activities on gas fired power plants and overall mid-term (3-5 years) sales strategy.
- Offer, negotiate and close Long Term Service Agreements, O&M Contracts, Open Market Opportunities, Upgrades and Extensions or any other customer related agreements.
- Support the customers on their journey towards energy transformation and decarbonization of their assets and always try to leverage the full potential out of the wide product portfolio of Siemens Energy aftermarket services.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of the assigned service contracts and projects by further developing your project management skills.
- Identify and organize the appropriate resources needed for the project implementation, including Subcontractors, EHS, temporary and permanent Siemens Energy staff (local and overseas) and following-up on technical issues and improvements etc.
- Develop and Maintain excellent customer and stakeholder relations for both internally and externally.
