We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Energy Team based in Louvain-La-Neuve.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible to bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales, effectively communicating the value and capabilities of N-SIDE’s products and services to customers while understanding their unique needs, ultimately driving successful sales outcomes and fostering long-term customer relationships.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep customer focus, and a solution-oriented mindset. If you want to have passionate conversations with customers, this role is for you!
What you’ll do
- Provide technical consultation: Understand the technical aspects and capabilities of N-SIDE’s products and services, and effectively communicate their value proposition to customers. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requirements by offering expert guidance and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Support the sales process: Lead the preparation of technical proposals/answers to RFPs, quotations, and presentation delivery. Participate in sales meetings to ensure alignment between customer needs and our offerings. Develop G2M strategy with Product Teams (including Partnerships).
- Build customer relationships:Cultivate strong relationships with customers by being a reliable source of technical expertise. Understand customer needs and industry trends to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct technical demonstrations: Deliver compelling and effective (product) demonstrations and technical meetings. Tailor demonstrations and presentations to address customer-specific requirements and use cases.
- Collaborate with internal teams:Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as product managers and marketing, to gather and share knowledge, address customer needs, and continuously improve our offerings. Provide feedback on market trends and customer requirements to contribute to product development, value proposition definition, and our general offering.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements relevant to our products/services.
About you
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science) or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of T&D needs (System Operation, Market, Planning…) is a must
- Experience in a commercial position (sales or technical sales role) is nice to have
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to handle multiple topics in parallel, comfortable with dynamic environments and autonomy and self-organization
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
