Sales Manager, Animal Health - Benelux

After an intensive training on products, biosecurity and our farm to fork approach on animal production, you will be responsible for the sales management of all distributors in Benelux region.

What You’ll Do
  • Managing the Sales Budget of Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with an ambition and commitment to achieve double digit growth rates
  • Improving skills of the sales teams, distributors, and sales teams of our local partners: through professional trainings and field visits at key accounts;
  • Managing the technical support of a dedicated application manager, who´s answering on all types of technical questions related to our products and biosecurity, proposing solutions (with support of Global Animal Health Product Management);
  • Commercial guidance such as follow-up on pricing, orders, together with our Customer service etc.;
  • You will report to the European Animal Health Commercial Leadership, and together we will establish your action plan and sales targets, based on agreed strategies. You introduce new products, prepare strategic discussions on how to grow the business, etc.
  • Coaching and leading a sales and technical support team of 3-6 people
  • Building and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with your partners in your territory
  • Marketing and promoting the products in Benelux with the support of the Global Animal Health Marketing team

What You’ll Need
  • Fluent Dutch, French, and English, written and oral
  • Knowledge of animal production (dairy farm, poultry or swine) or in the health- or nutritional field.
  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Animal science, Nutrition or Bio-Engineering.
  • Minimum 8+ years working experience with leadership/managerial experience in a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture
  • Willingness to travel 60% of your time in your territory
  • Location in Belgium or the Netherlands
