Atkore Vergokan is currently looking out for a

Sales & Marketing Director (M/F/X)

Scope of the position and place in the organization

The Sales & Marketing Director holds final responsibility over the Sales, Marketing and Customer Services of the European business. He/She will be guided during a transition period by the current job holder, who is moving to another position within the company.

The Sales & Marketing Director reports directly through a full reporting line to the CEO of Atkore Vergokan. He/She is a member of the Management team, together with CEO, CFO, Operations Director and HR Director.

The Sales & Marketing Director him/herself leads the International Sales Team (Belgium, France, the Netherlands, DACH and Export), the Marketing team and the Customer Services Team (Internal Sales Team), totaling 24 associates.

Purpose of the job, tasks and responsibilities

Purpose of the job of Sales & Marketing Director is to continue the successful growth path of Atkore Vergokan in Europe. He/She will focus on the realization of our 5-year growth plan in terms of Sales and margin, by further developing the business internationally.

Therefore he/she will determine, together with the other members of the management team, a local commercial strategy and implement this strategy with his/her team.

He/She will also strengthen the activity of Vergokan Group as the European hub of Atkore by aligning the different SKU’s.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Economics or Commercial Engineering or equivalent through experience;
• He/She has a minimum of 10 to 15 years successful professional experience in a commercial management position in an international setting;
• Experience in a big multinational is an asset
• He/She has gained this experience as a supplier to the construction sector, preferably in electrical components;
• Fluency inDutch, Frenchand Englishmandatory,Germanis an important asset;
• The role is 50% office based in Oudenaarde, Belgium.

• Culturally agile: the ideal candidate has the facility to connect with people from different nationalities and different cultures and adapt his/her communication and attitude accordingly;
• Internationally mobile,travel up to 50% of working time.
