This international 3PL Company is located in Antwerp and is looking for a senior accountant that has already working experience. Preferably, you’ve been in contact with different aspects of an accounting department. You will work together with 15 team members to run the finance department and you’ll be responsible for the GL accounting of 1 or more legal entities throughout Europe.

Responsibilities:
  • GL Accounting of 1 or more entities, including:
    • Monthly posting of payroll, accruals, prepaids, depreciations, … in US GAAP
    • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
    • Analytical review of results per branch
    • Help in reporting branch results
  • Fiscal Compliance, including:
    • Preparation (and filing in some entities) of VAT and other tax declarations
    • Help during tax controls
  • Year-end closings, including:
    • Preparation of local GAAP statutory files
    • Help during audit
    • Preparation (and filing in some entities) of local GAAP financial statements
  • Contact with branches
  • Contact with external parties (auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities)
  • Ad hoc tasks
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor accountancy or Master
  • Knowledge GL accounting
  • Fiscal knowledge (basic)
  • Experience in a similar function
  • Professional knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
  • No 9-to-5 mentality
