A company active in the engineering sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your expertise in accounting, you will be the perfect addition to the finance team, and you will be co-responsible for the correct execution of the bookkeeping.
Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Accountant will include:
- Book purchase and sales invoices in analytical cost centers and monitor the debtor’s transactions
- Execute the bank transactions
- Contribute to a timely monthly closing and VAT declaration
- Assist in preparing the annual accounts
- Assist in the preparation of the audit
- Ensure the financial follow-up of the projects, both for internal and external reporting
Your profile:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a Master’s degree in a financial field
- You have several years of experience in Accounting
- You are fluent in Dutch and French, knowledge of English is an asset
Your strengths:
- You are organised, precise and a team-player
- Through your previous experience you’ve developed a sense of initiative and you are proactive
