We are looking for a new colleague in the Cloud Services Team at our location in Ieper

Your tasks:

Analyze, treat and communicate identified data-related issues and collaborate with other teams to discover and implement the best solutions
Proactively identify bottlenecks and optimize database performance to improve user experience
Assist in the analysis and design of new projects
Create awareness in the development teams of the importance of good data design for high-load always on systems
Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support

Your profile:

Computer Science degree or equivalent and several years of experience working with and supporting database technologies
Passion for technology with an excellent understanding of a variety of SQL and NoSQL data technologies
Understanding of data security and monitoring and automation principles
Ability to perform complex problem-solving - isolating variables, testing one thing at a time, systematically approaching the problem in smaller parts
Coding skills in Python, .NET or another language are beneficial
