Trasys International offers IT Consulting jobs at the European Institutions andInternational Organizations.

For our customer based inBrussels, an European Institution, we are looking for a Database Developer to complete its’ Database and Business Intelligence team.

As Database Developer, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Design, develop, test, implement and maintain new and existing databases,
  • Designing database tables and structures; Data analysis, data modelling,
    • physical database design,
  • Development and maintenance of database views, functions, triggers and
    stored procedures,
  • Maintaining data quality and overseeing database security,
  • Database integration with applications and other corporate Information
    Systems,
  • Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications,
  • Elaboration and execution of database test scenarios, definition of test data
    sets,
  • Database configuration and optimisation,
  • Create IT documentation for new and existing databases,
  • Assistance with deployment, configuration and tuning of the database.
  • You should hold a Bachelor degree in a relevant field for the role;
  • You should have at least 12 years of experience in IT;
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of relational database systems, stored
    procedures, data modeling, SQL, software development and scripting using
    PL/SQL; MySQL; Oracle 12c
  • Application development environments
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • You should speak fluent English;
  • Capability to work effectively in a multicultural environment;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • At least, one of the following:
    • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
    • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)


Nationality and Security Clearance

As a Personal Security Clearance of level "EU SECRET/SECRET EU" might be requested for this profile, only candidates with a valid EU citizenship will be taken into consideration.
