We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the business as Senior Finance Manager to lead the Benelux and Nordics region. You will be providing financial leadership to Branch Managers and maintaining a strong control environment and the quality of the financial reporting, both internal and external.

How You Will Do It

As Senior Finance Manager you will be partner to the local leadership team providing continuous coaching in multi-disciplined finance policies & processes. You’ll support and contribute to the design and implementation of key business decisions & projects through pro-actively advising and engaging on all Finance matters. Performs business analysis and ensure accurate support of local Line of Business Managers.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead organisational change across the business collaborating in the deployment of strategic business transformations and simplification programs to optimize current business and Finance processes and tools. Drive process optimization leading to sustainable working capital improvements and cash-flow management over short and long term.

You’ll translate business requirements into Finance strategy and own the planning and forecasting process to ensure Branch plans translate into a sound Financial Plan. Ensure accurate control of plans and performance through regular reviews, set benchmarking, backlog & pre-bid reviews, cash flow analysis, receivable and performance reviews. Drive business accountability, develop critical metrics and efficient operating mechanism.

You’ll take ownership for ensuring financial reports, metrics and analysis are provided to leadership team in support of operational reviews and key business decisions, taking care of any standard and ad-hoc Finance information requests in a timely manner.

You’ll ensure proper internal controls are in place and company policies are followed. Responsible for application of DOA (Delegation of Authority). Exhibit and promote the highest level of ethics on conducting and supporting business transaction.

Required

What we look for

• Proven experience in all aspects of financial business control like budgeting process, monthly reporting, internal control
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels in English, French and Dutch languages.
• Proven record of strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong problem solving capabilities
• Ability to support and control financial results in a multi-location/field environment.
• Understanding of IT systems relating to financial functions and operational areas
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluency in English language in addition to proficient level in French and Dutch.
  

Preferred

We’d ideally love you to have previous experience from large multinational company and experience in post-merger integration though this isn’t crucial. Any familiarity with project business and backlog reviews and One Stream, Oracle and ServiceMax systems will also be a benefit.
