A company active in the Insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Insurance Accountant to join their offices in Brussels

Thanks to your experience in accounting and in insurance, you will be the perfect addition to the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Insurance Accountant will include:

  • Participating in the validation and closing of accounts
  • Preparation of internal/external reporting
  • Proactively contributing to the company’s project to transition into the IFRS17 accounting standard
  • Participating in streamlining less efficient processes and introduce more digital tooling

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s Degree in Accounting or in another relevant field
  • Fluent in English and good knowledge of at least French and/or Dutch

Your strengths:

  • You have a good knowledge of IFRS9, IFRS4 and IFRS17
  • You have a good knowledge of BE GAAP
  • You have a strong knowledge of the Belgian local Insurance Financial Statements
  • You are pro-active and pragmatic
  • You are driven and have solution-oriented attitude
