To cope with the expansion of our Risk & Regulatory department, we are currently looking for a (Senior) Manager to strengthen our enthusiastic team.

As a (Senior) Manager within our team in charge of ESG-risks management, you will help our clients to strengthen their sustainability frameworks and manage the associated risks, including support in:

• Design and implementation of ESG-strategies (incl. climate ambition);
• Enhancement of the risk management framework (incl. risk appetite) to incorporate risks stemming from ESG factors (including but not limited to climate risk);
• Development of methodologies to identify, quantify and prioritize the materiality of ESG factors on the activities of our clients (and derive financial risk impacts under different scenarios), incl. definition/selection of adequate data;
• Design and implementation of adequate ESG-reporting packages;
• Follow-up of evolving regulatory requirements and expectations in the field of ESG (incl. climate risk)

You will also be responsible for:

• Business development related to ESG (incl. deployment of our commercial strategy, organization of workshops, etc.);
• Project management;
• People management (incl. coaching/training younger colleagues)

Skills & Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years professional experience is required for the job, including:

• At least 2 years experience in setting-up/designing/managing frameworks related to sustainability (incl. the development of sustainability / ESG strategies, ESG risk frameworks, ESG quantification methods, etc.);
• Prior experience in the banking sector (manager level and up);
• Prior experience in the field of risk management (experience in the integration of sustainability risks in management frameworks is an added value).
