Intro

Moebius Consulting is the technical consultancy company within the Verhaert Group Masters in Innovation.
We are looking for a senior test development engineer with experience in order to support our client’s development team in he Leuven area.

Your challenge

You will contribute to the building of the testing strategy and hardware setups of high-performance infrared sensors, from readout wafer testing to packaged sensors.

  • You review and improve the current opto-electronic test setups.
  • You streamline the tests acquisition and data processing. You use your knowledge and experience to promote good engineering practices, such as testability, accessibility, scalability and performance.
  • You develop detailed test strategies based on complex business and technical requirements and you will implement it into production taking into account quality, cycle time, cost and user friendliness aspects.
  • You identify the main yield detractors and lead the investigation into reducing them.
  • You plan and execute the maintenance of the testing infrastructure, including optimization.
  • You play a key role in the communication between the design team and the production team.
  • You are the first point of contact for issues and technical questions about test setups

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant disciplines.
  • You have experience in testing CMOS and/or opto-electronics components, preferably in a industrial context.
  • You have development/scripting experience using Python (mandatory) and LabVIEW.
  • You have strong problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • You are able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
