Throughout the life cycle of the industrial installation, we offer a unique range of services aimed at maintaining and optimizing productivity and quality.As a Service Sales Engineer Digitalization / Industry 4.0 - Motion Control (m/f/x), you will be jointly responsible for the growth of the service organization identifying and developing digitalizationservice opportunities in collaboration with the regional sales teams. You are responsible for the management of a customer portfolio with responsibility for turnover and margin. In doing so, you proactively increase market share with existing and new customers to achieve your goals.Creating transparency on the shopfloor / creating a digital twin of a machine / data analytics on process data/ improving uptime / .... These are just a few examples that we can deliver to our customers. We have several digital portfolio elements at our disposal in the meantime!Using our 7 Steps Approach, we approach all our industrial customers. This way of working has already proven its usefulness several times and is of great importance in the transformation to the 4.0 idea.You will take on the active sales of the Digital Enterprise Service Portfolio (www.siemens.be/services). You develop and identify opportunities with existing and new customers at an early stage. You analyze the customer’s needs and help draw up the service strategy. You negotiate the technical and commercial conditions and can come to a successful long-term cooperation.In consultation with the sales support team, you coordinate the technical development of the offers, master the technical content, and negotiate this with the customer. You supervise the projects in progress and detect possible follow-up business.You actively participate in marketing activities (presentations, fairs). You provide content for publications, and you participate actively through various social media platforms.Within the BeLux region you are responsible for the planning and coordination of your service sales activities. You map focus customers and segments based on customer and market data and determine the Go to Market. In this role you work closely with the different sales groups within Digital Industries and in addition to that, you have many internal contacts with for example the headquarters.Will you be our new colleague?- You have a master’s degree in electromechanics, automation, electronics, or any other relevant degree.
- You have knowledge/affinity within the domain of factory automation and motion control.
- You can detect the customer’s needs and translate them into a technical solution with a focus on the added value of our solutions.
- You build long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- You have a commercial attitude and act in a customer-oriented and proactive way.
- You are a real team player.
- You speak to your customers in Dutch, French and/or English.
