ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a Service Sales Manager for the Western European region.

The account manager will be responsible for the service order intake in Western Europe.

She/He will work in support of the account managers to develop service opportunities and drive them to closure. The service account manager will take end-to-end responsibility for the service sales process in accounts across Western Europe.

As a true team player, he/she will act in coordination with the account manager, project manager and service manager in charge of the account in question.

Sales tasks will include translation of opportunities in a sales pipeline, requirements capturing, offer creation and contract closure. Performance will be measured by monitoring order intake volume and margin level achievement versus plan (year) and forecast (month and quarter).

Responsibilities And Tasks
  • Independently you will drive and take full ownership of your sales processes in order to meet defined targets.
  • You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customers needs.
  • We all contribute to the overall customer satisfaction level and in this position it’s important to be close to and communicate effectively with customers and agents to keep them updated.
  • Overseeing the daily, routine tasks involved with addressing the customers needs and concerns and maintaining their account activity will be part of your role.
  • Travelling will be a natural part of your work therefore regular customer visits are expected (20% travel).
Qualifications & Skills
  • You hold a Bachelor Degree in Sales, financial business , Engineering or alternatively equivalent experience.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational position within sales, preferably service sales management.
  • You have experience in dealing with small to medium size transactional business.
  • For this role you need to be fluent in English in both speaking and writing. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • As a Service Sales Manager it is important to possess a distinct drive, be strategy-minded combined with patience to match long business processes typical of the airport industry as sales projects can be 2-5 years.
  • You are confident, capable of multi-tasking. Attention to detail, service minded, and of course target oriented.
  • You are flexible and a team player
  • You must have a good social ability to be able to develop contact with customers and agents as well as with colleagues.
