Our client is active in the Financial sector.

The scope of responsibilities for this job as Senior accountant includes:

  • You will be responsible for the execution of various operational tasks and will soon become an expert in your team Your daily tasks will consist of:
  • Debt collections,Financial Control and Invoicing
  • Reporting (VAT,…)
  • Answer complex cases raised by other departments (Sales, back-office, etc.) - Client or partner files
  • Cash flow management and bank reconciliation
  • Payment processes
  • Participation in various projects, their follow-up and their implementation, in close cooperation with the project team and external suppliers,
  • Participation in the setup, description and documentation of new tasks,
  • Monitoring of activity and reporting to the Management (including follow-up of SLAs),
  • Controls and follow-up of invoicing and budgets,
  • Coaching of colleagues

The requested qualifications for this job as Senior accountant include:

  • Graduate level education / an MBA or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Expertise in accounting
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial institution ideally.
  • An experience in project management or process management is a plus.
  • You can work autonomous and take your responsibilities
