Job Description

The responsibility of the Process Engineer Europe is to maintain, together with the team, process technology excellence throughout European facilities and ensure a strong technical foundation to enable:
  • Safe, efficient and reliable production processes that meet our customer needs and our performance requirements
  • Quick and accurate support to operations to meet business and customer needs
  • Effective execution of CAPEX and process changes
  • Continuous improvement in process safety & costs, product quality and capacity utilization
Responsibilities
  • Process reliability, stability and optimization
  • Training of the operators and process engineers
  • Technical choices in CAPEX for process-related technologies
  • Functionality Notes / P&ID / PFD
  • Safety, quality, costs assessment and improvement initiatives
  • Best practices
  • Benchmarking of the efficiencies, quality, reliability of the main production equipment
  • Identification of best available technologies and possible application into our plants
  • Technology survey
  • Tests of the new fuels
  • Trials with new equipment
  • Flexible and ready to travel all across Europe
Ideal candidate

Education
  • University degree: Engineer (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Chemical, …)
Experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in similar position (process/production) in lime, cement or similar industry
Soft Skills
  • Innovative and creative in the solutions you propose
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, have a sense of priorities and a long term vision
  • Demonstrate a certain curious mindset and comfortable in dealing with unexpected issues
  • Analytic, results, and improvements oriented
  • Appreciate participating in multi-disciplinary teams and not afraid of working autonomously on projects
  • Ability to work in transversal position
Professional Skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic knowledge in statistics
  • Basic knowledge in hydraulics & electricity
  • Project management skills required
