Job Purpose and Impact

The Strategic Pricing Value Consultant will provide advanced knowledge and thought leadership of value based pricing principles to the sales, commercial, product line, marketing and executive leadership to grow revenue with a specific focus on sustainability. In this role, you will identify and quantify areas of value for customers / suppliers and influence a value based pricing and selling approach across the organization. Furthermore, you will be working with our global businesses and enterprises to leverage and grow the commercial ecosystem to create the maximum value of Cargill’s sustainability solutions throughout our supply chains.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead multiple projects to develop and deploy commercial strategies throughout the commercial ecosystem for various business groups and align with their business strategies and needs, with main focus on sustainability solutions.
  • Define and handle the overall value strategy that supports commercial, product line and sales teams in customer interactions enabled through sustainability.
  • Partner collaboratively with business partners to advise, define and deliver new methodologies for value quantification aligned with business and customer strategies.
  • Develop economic value propositions for value drivers including value identification, quantification and value creation models pre and post sales.
  • Create, own and lead the capability building, process, tools and information for value identification, value quantification and communication in the organization.
  • Provide expert thought leadership to business groups on the developments and execution of commercial strategies by partnering with other internal functions within the businesses and across the commercial excellence organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Confirmed experience prioritizing, selecting and deploying commercial and pricing processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in related fields
  • Global experience across the food /feed, (bio) fuel supply chain or sustainability solutions
