Are you looking for an interesting project lead position in a challenging and attractive company? Smart I.T. Systems, which is one of the market leaders in its sector, is looking for a Technical Account Manager.
Smart I.T. Systems has been active in the European pharmaceutical world for 25 years, where we offer all kinds of solutions for both large and small organizations. Our company is best known for developing and supporting software for the effective management of assets and processes. Over the years we have built up a progressive knowledge in developing e-commerce, mobile applications and consultancy.
In order to ensure qualitative project delivery, we are looking for a motivated employee who can join our team.
The role
The Technical Account Manager ensures that all their projects are delivered within time, budget and scope.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Project initiation
- Create milestone planning
- Detect risks based on experiences in previous projects and specific customer situation
- Devise and document mitigation actions for all risks
Project delivery
- Timely detect issues
- Search together with the internal and external project staff for solutions to issues
- For issues they cannot solve within their own projects:
- Look for multiple alternatives for a solution
- Weigh the alternatives against each other based on criteria that balance the interest of the customer with the interest of Smart IT.
- Provide this information to the TAM Team Meeting
- Maintain a good relationship with all project stakeholders, both internally and externally
Reporting
- Report project status info (red/amber/green) for all their ongoing projects, both client projects and internal projects to the Manager Technical Account Managers
Customer relationships
- Build strong customer relationships
- Maintain an active relationship with all their existing customers to ensure they derive value from the SmartIT solutions
- Manage customer expectation
- Monitor solution of technical issues of their projects at high-level
- Provide exceptional customer experience
Business-development
- Actively question their customers’ experiences with regard to added value and inform the Manager Services & Value Development of emerging issues
- Analyze customers’ needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements
- Identify leads and transfer them to Sales
Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain knowledge of an agile project approach
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or in a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience as contributor in complex data driven software development environments (with preferably BI-knowledge)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position as Technical Account Manager/ Project Manager
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Languages: Dutch, French and English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem analysis and problem-solving
- Decision-making
- Planning and organizing
- Good time-management skills
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects
- Team player
