The Technical Services Lead Poultry will assess needs and actively provide technical solutions and support to customers with significant business through our Additives portfolio in the EMEA region. In this role, you will develop the Additives business by offering innovative technologies and recommendations to relevant customers, with full focus on poultry and mostly in European locations. You will belong to a group of specialists, working with regional category leads and supporting local teams to provide onsite technical assistance for current and prospective customers; you will eventually be performing applied field research to validate our products’ efficacy, potentially within projects requiring new application technology.
Key Accountabilities
- Determine and provide technical support service to strategic customers with priority in the region or a specific country.
- Partner with Category leads to identify and execute on emerging technical information and trial data for supporting product differentiation and developing unique solutions combining products, services and technologies.
- Provide commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments.
- Oversee individual technology project budgets within your scope of responsibility.
- Seek for solutions through use of deep knowledge in varied fields and wide across specialties.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex subjects to appropriate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree (BS or equivalent) in a related field
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Available to travel 30% to 50%
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Graduate degree (MS, DVM or PhD)
- Experience in feed additives
- Experience with direct customer support
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in oral and written English language
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
