E2 Drivesis a young engineering company active in electric mobility. E2 Drives is specialised in mechanics, electronics, electric motor design and embedded control.

In recent years, they developed an innovative and disruptivepowertrainforelectric bikes. This patented technology offers comfort, robustness and performance to the cyclist thanks to its all-in-one and internalautomatic gearboxdesign.

E2 Drives mission is to revolutionise the way people are commuting, thanks to its disruptive eBike propulsion system. E2 Drives concluded a partnership withDecathlonand plans to become aebike motor leader in the five coming years.

E2 Drives has launched its first generation of motors in 2023 and is working on a second generation of motors to enlarge the eBike motor offer. The tech company is based in Wavre (a nice place in the South-East of Brussels) and can count on a team of 30 young, dynamic and smart professionals.

What will be your role?

Reporting to the Test & Validation Team Lead, you take ownership of designing, assembling, and operating tests to evaluate product performance. You develop and execute test protocols, analyze data, and provide clear insights through detailed reports.

What will be your main tasks?

  • You develop, write, execute, and refine test protocols based on requirements, covering mechanical, software, and electronic aspects.
  • You design, procure, and assemble mechanical systems for testing purposes.
  • You independently operate test benches and ensure accurate execution of test procedures.
  • You analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and draw meaningful conclusions.

What will make you successful?

  • Master degree in engineering or equivalent through experience.
  • Comfortable using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Comfortable using MATLAB/Simulink to analyse data.
  • Analytical, problem solving skills, rigorous, autonomous and results oriented.
  • Able to work autonomously, take initiative, and bring creative solutions to challenges.
  • Familiar with application testing and improvement.
  • Hands-on approach, experienced in assembling mechanical systems.
  • Fluent in French or in English.
