‎What will be your focus?‎

‎As a Test Analyst you will assess the quality of digital applications and determine if they are in line with the customer’s requirements. You will do this by drawing up and updating test cases, then executing them.

Test Preparation
‎You will prepare/update your test cases yourself based on specifications and make preparations to be able to execute your test cases correctly and completely.‎ You will:

• ‎Review the customer’s supplied requirements for completeness, correctness and clarity (reviews)‎
• Apply black box test design techniques (EP/BVA/Decision Table/State Transition/Use Case)
• Select and prioritise test cases that are eligible for automation and/or regression‎

Test Execution
‎You will ensure the correct application of the test plan‎

• Create a test log, including Pass/Fail result‎
• ‎Detect defects, with sufficient test evidence, and discuss with developers‎
• Exploratory insider testing

Test Reporting
‎Analysis of the test results and associated communication‎

• Communicate Results to the Test Lead‎
• ‎Deliver daily test reports‎
• ‎Suggest test improvements

• ‎>= 2 years of test experience‎
• ‎ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (IREB, PSM1 is a plus)‎
• ‎Some knowledge of test management tools and defect management systems‎
• ‎Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, French is a plus‎
• IT-related bachelor or master, or equivalent through experience‎Analytical attitude‎
• ‎Great interest and motivation to learn Test Automation in the short term and/or first small steps taken towards Automation‎
• ‎Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers on a tailor-made basis‎
• Driver’s license B‎

‎A bonus if you also have the following: ‎

• Basic programming skills (javascript, python, c#, etc...)
• ‎Knowledge of current development practices (Agile, TDD, BDD, ...)‎
