Translation Support To the International Military Staff (IMS) LINGUISTIC

  • Working Location: Brussels, Belgium
  • Security Clearance: NATO Secret / SC
  • Language: High proficiency level in English and French languages

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • Several years’ experience as a full-time translator, preferably working in military, political and technical fields
  • University degree level education specializing in translation and/or the relevant modern language combination or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. Military Academy) or background

DUTIES/ROLE

  • Translation of documents into French
  • Use of Microsoft Office applications is crucial to the effective and successful execution of daily duties
  • Use specialized translation tools (SDL Studio)) and terminology databases (Logiterm, Multiterm, etc)
