We are currently looking for a Facility & Black Utilities Engineerfor a permanent contrat in Charleroi.

You will join a collaborative team full of passionate change-makers, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will bring your expertise to develop and maintain standards, methods, and designs for your specific domain of competence.

Your responsibilities:

  • Be the engineering expert (SME) for biotech infrastructure projects
  • Be the accountable expert for facility, HVAC, clean rooms, and black utilities designs
  • Be the accountable expert to support defining Commission and Qualification strategy for his domain of expertise topics
  • Interface/coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers or subcontractors
  • Support/contribute to continuous improvement of existing ways of working
  • Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within project specifications
  • Write and/or approve any document related to her/his domain of expertise (SOP, design specifications, performance requirements, user instructions, training, installation reports...)
  • Ensure relevant technologies fit with purpose to maintain and upgrade our standards with respect to process reliability and efficiency, Quality and EHS
  • Closely collaborate with other SME and stakeholders to manage governance for scope boundaries
  • Closely collaborate with automation SME and IT to set a path to industry 4.0 for Building Management Systems

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in a quality-oriented and manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of biotech facilities systems is a must
  • Knowledge of industrial electricity and clean utilities is a plus
  • High level of initiative combined with strong demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and agility in a demanding environment
  • Team player, autonomous and solution-focused
  • Fluent in English and French
