The Vice President Marketing is responsible to define and implement marketing strategies and plans for Radisson Hotel Group overlooking all aspect of Consumer marketing, B2B marketing, PR, Social Media and partnership activations for EMEA as well as provide strategic support and guidance to all areas marketing heads.
She / He acts as the orchestrator between all disciplines involved in the definition and delivery of our key messages and campaigns aiming at activating our consumers across all our channels and segments including B2C, B2B and Sales Promotions.
In this role, and in collaboration with discipline heads, VP Marketing also has the responsibility to strategically recommend best allocation of available ZMA funds per disciplines and areas to achieve our business goals.
VP Marketing is responsible to drive RHG awareness and consideration within all segment (B2C and B2B) across EMEA with aim to secure and grow conversion on RHG owned booking channels / tools
The Vice President Marketing is responsible to provide the organization with accurate customer intelligence and knowledge at key segment level to support all commercial strategic decision including Sales, Offer & Promotion and Communication at EMEA level.
In this role, the VP marketing will need to demonstrate strong strategic and leadership capabilities to drive ONE EMEA integrated plan and synergies across all disciplines and areas securing flowless and perfect execution.
In collaboration with its marketing discipline peers, VP marketing will also have the leads all aspects of RHG marketing initiatives including content creation, campaigns, brand marketing/positioning communication, consumer marketing, digital marketing, brand partnerships, influencer/celebrity marketing, PR and Loyalty Marketing
She / He will apply broad knowledge of its background and past environment to identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging opportunities e.g., partnership, participants, etc
As part of the role, VP Marketing will demonstrate critical thinking toward existing organization and governance in place and define best organizational foundation to deliver targeted marketing effectiveness expressed in growth of RHG awareness, consumer engagement, consideration, and conversion.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define and align Marketing & Communication Strategies across all areas and channels in EMEA for both B2C and B2B.
- Transfer the Marketing strategy to concrete operational plans, campaign and activation calendar cross area and disciplines at both B2C and B2B level.
- Leads all aspects of RHG marketing initiatives including content creation, campaigns, brand marketing/positioning communication, consumer marketing, digital marketing, brand partnerships, influencer/celebrity marketing, and PR.
- Provide guidance and strategic input into the definition of marketing and communication plans with 3rd party vendors such as TMC’s, GDS and OTA’s.
- Responsible to strategically define and allocate available ZMA funds per Disciplines and Areas.
- Hold the responsibility to position RHG among one of the top 3 hotel brands in ROW showcasing its main USPs and highlighting competitive advantages.
- Lead the development of an ambitious Social Media strategy leveraging relevant influencers focusing on our lifestyle brands, brand ambassadorship, inspiring photoshoots, content takeovers, demos, expert panels, etc.
- Lead the development and execution of a dynamic and creative PR strategy to amplify RHG core brand awareness, consideration, and engagement with extra focus on positioning Radisson Collection in the luxury sector.
- Develop strategic brand partnerships with relevant brands in the luxury, lifestyle and arts and cultural world.
- Lead the strategic definition and development of a partnership and promotion practice aiming at amplifying RHG key messages and positioning with relevant brands and activating new relevant audiences to engage with RHG.
- Implement an effective customers life cycle with aim to always be relevant and secure the right communication at the right tine and with the right channel pre, during and post stay with any RHG property.
- Prepares and is responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and departmental inventory is controlled, and that target productivity and performance levels are attained.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications/activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.
- Review and scrutinize the business performance, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance, including working with internal and external partners on adhoc projects.
- Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
- Effectively manages the life cycle of the team within the department, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance whilst reflecting promoting the company culture and values.
- Lead and mentor RHG multi-disciplinary, Central and Area Marketing team setting the tone of the culture and pace of work.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability required:
Excellent soft skills, especially communication skills given the high level of interaction and coordination with Area leaders (both written and public speaking).
- Facility to enhance collaboration among cross-functional teams including external resources.
- Analytical capability to treat financial data and be able to make strategic and tactical decisions.
- Ethical behavior and absolute discretion with sensitive information around clients and internal decisions.
- Ability to provide focus and direction to the Commercial team (following the “less is more” guideline”).
- Proactivity in identifying and actioning initiatives required to ensure business growth.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to address any issue in collaboration with others, identify and prevent potential problems and develop problem-solving skills in others.

- Knowledge on the tourism sector, accounts evolving needs and preferences, other industries potential, competitive environment, and strategic approach to address the new reality.
- Significant work experience in Strategy roles and leadership.
- Experience working in multi-cultural or international settings.
Competencies & skills requirements:
- Minimum education: Master degree in Marketing & Communication or similar
- 10+ years of experience in reputed marketing Travel/Leisure/Consumer companies
- Proven experience in strategic marketing position with similar orchestration roles
- Experience in brand building and activation.
- Experience with media, proven success in product launches.
- Experience in partnership and media promotion
- Digital savvy. High exposure to technological environments where the e-commerce plays a vital role in the strategy deployment
- Solid experience in diverse and remote team leadership
- Very fluent in English. Any other European language will be highly valued.
- Strong leadership, capacity to influence and manage stakeholders.
