Job description

Within a project/product team, you will be required, in the context of on-board space satellite applications, to ensure the coordination of all technical activities related to test philosophy, definition and execution on prototypes and electrical models, .

Main activities:

  • Define the test philosophy and strategy new products
  • Elaborate the test plans according to the test means and production means.
  • Write Test specifications according to the requirements and the design.
  • Define breadboard, prototypes, and electrical models tests validation procedures and setup
  • Verify the compliance to the electrical specifications
  • Support test technicians
  • Analyze and interpret test results
  • Write and/or validate test reports, design justifications and various descriptive documents
  • Contribute to internal project reviews within the company, and external reviews with the customers

Profile

Essential skills

  • Master in Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering
  • Thorough knowledge of design of power topologies, analog and digital electronics
  • Excellent knowledge of regulation loops, stability, rejection, efficiency, etc…
  • Excellent experience in an electronic lab environment
  • Knowledge of electrical security rules (BA5)
  • Excellent knowledge of Test methodology

  • Autonomous, ability to prioritize a workload, rigorous and inventive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (leadership, sound judgment, synthesis, federation, organization)
  • Proven solving skills and decision oriented
  • Respect budget, planning and able to work to deadline
  • French and English knowledge, written and spoken

Assets

  • Previous working experience in the space or aeronautical field
  • Knowledge of communication systems (CAN, UART, Ethernet, 1553, …)
  • Familiar with Agile method, Scrum framework, and Kanban
  • Dutch Knowledge, written and spoken
