A leading company in the building materials industry, with an HQ in West Flanders, is currently looking for Account Manager - Building Materials for promoting a their product range towards the Belgium market.

Reporting to the Sales manager, the new Account Manager - Building Materials will be responsible for:

  • You will take over clients as architect and wholesalers based in your region
  • Providing technical expertise and advice to new and existing customers in order to develop a close and long-term relationship that ensures they continue or increase the levels of business with the new systems.
  • Identifying and prospecting potential leads on target construction projects to secure specifications and contracts
  • Providing the management with strategic recommendations for the local market
  • If requested, negotiating project technical terms with sub-contractors.
  • Providing solutions to design and esthetical problems to the customer base that fully comply with accepted standards and construction codes of practice.

The Account Manager -Building Materials is required to have minimum 3 years of experience in an external or internal commercial position within the building materials industry. A strong understanding in specification sales towards architects is needed. As the Account Manager - Building Materials, you have a strong command in Dutch, French and English to be able to develop strong commercial relationship with your client.
