As an Accountant, you will perform various accounting tasks. You will work as part of a team, always keeping the objectives of the finance department in mind. In this role you will report to the Accounting Manager Beluxa and work from our office in Diegem.

Your main responsibilities

• Supporting the closing activities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
• Preparing various declarations (intrastat/VAT);
• You will be responsible for a number of general ledger accounts and maintain the corresponding balance sheet specifications;
• Managing treasury, cash pool and cash forecast;
• Managing the Shared Service Centre for cash processing.

What We Ask

• You have a bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent through experience.
• You are fluent and know how to express yourself well in Dutch and English, basic French.
• You can work in a team as well as independently
• You are familiar with standard IT platforms (Windows, Office, Excel). Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus.
• Good communication skills in NL/ENG, basic FR
• Sense of responsibility
