Bruker Belgium is an international, dynamic and fast-growing organization specialized in the development and production of hi-tech scientific instruments for non-destructive 3D X-ray imaging (microCT). We currently have a new opportunity in Kontich Belgium for an Application Engineer to support the microCT imaging business worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and support to ensure our customers maximize the value of our products.
  • Network Building: Cultivate and maintain a robust scientific network, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • Documentation Guru: Create engaging manuals, marketing materials, and other documentation to enhance user understanding and product visibility.
  • Dynamic Demonstrations: Conduct compelling in-person and remote product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities that set our products apart.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Actively contribute to engineering changes for existing products, bringing fresh perspectives to enhance their functionality.
  • Workflow Optimization: Streamline workflows and scanning protocols to elevate the user experience, demonstrating a commitment to efficiency.
  • Innovation Driver: Develop and assess the feasibility of new applications, driving innovation and staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Product Validation: Validate the performance of new products to ensure they meet and exceed our high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Master in Natural Sciences (Biology, Biomedical Science, Physics, Engineering) with strong engineering background. PhD in Natural Sciences or Physics is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience with technical or scientific instruments, preferably imaging instruments. Working experience with microCT imaging instruments is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, and technical communication, organizational, and presentation skills, including MS Office and fluency in English.
  • A self-motivated professional with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently within a focused team and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Ability to maintain valid passport with flexibility for worldwide travel (up to 20%).
  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state or governing location.
  • Small laboratory animal handling license is an advantage.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
