Our client is a dynamic and growing production company, active in high-tech protection, international display installations, among other things.

Their team consists of more than approximately 300 employees in 2 productionsites in Belgium (Ghent en Antwerp) and several hubs abroad (Spain, Poland, etc.). Due to strong growth within the company, they are looking for a Group Business Application Managerin Ghent or near Malle.

Responsibilities

  • The design, management, maintenance, and documentation of their core business processes (in collaboration with the IT & Business Process Director)
  • The design, management, maintenance, and documentation of their current business software applications (in collaboration with their external partners); mainly for Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Take a lead role in our upgrade project to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • You’ll also take the lead for their Software Asset Management (SAM) for their business software applications
  • The setup of 1st line support/help desk function for their business software applications (you’ll get to outsource this!)
  • Build partnershipswith trusted third-party vendors in different countries
  • You carry out smaller modifications yourself. For larger adjustments, you work together with our external partners, whom you manage and monitor.

Qualifications

  • You fully recognize yourself in our core values: passionately committed, solution-driven, team, care
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
  • You have clearly demonstrable experience(s) with some of the following technologies: - Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, and SQL
  • You speak Englishfluently. Dutch and French language skills are a plus
  • You are able to work out conceptual solutions, defend them internally and then convert them into workable and reliable solutions for all users.
