This is an opportunity to join Honeywell and to become an Area Sales Manager, during this exciting time of expansion of the PPE business in the Benelux. As a key member of the sales team within our PPE division, you will use your sales talent and technical knowledge, to manage and developing the BELUX area (Wallonia in Belgium and Luxembourg) by offering and supporting our customers and prospects with a wide range of market leading Safety Solutions.
The successful applicant will be an ambitious Account Manager or Sales Engineer looking to forge as a team player a career within an innovative global business. At Honeywell we want you to be courageous, think big and be the best of you can.

Responsibilities and tasks:

The Area Sales Manager Belux has, or will develop, a strong understanding of the BELUX market and the PPE applications and solutions and helps to develop new business opportunities with end-user customers and/or distributors to help drive Honeywell growth:

  • To be able to setup, implement and execute a clear sales strategy and tactical plan to achieve our Annual Operating Plan in the BELUX area.
  • To be able to setup, implement and execute a clear service and support program for our distributors, to increase customer satisfaction.
  • To be or become the specialist in PPE, to support our distributors in providing technical knowledge so that we are able to provide solution selling and user guided information.
  • To be able to gather new trends, market information and opportunities.

The Area Sales Manager BELUX is responsible for managing all aspects of engagements with our distributors and end-users:

  • To be able to setup, implement and execute account plans, on distribution and end-user level.
  • To be able to setup, implement and execute harmonized strategies with our distributors.

The Area Sales Manager BELUX aggressively hunt new end-user to drive greater market penetration and new sources of revenue:

  • To be able to develop new business, by cross selling on end-user level, penetrate in new end-users and markets.

The Area Sales Manager BELUX improves the safety, productivity and performance on end-user level:

  • To be able to understand PPE regulation, customers applications and issues, to understand customer needs to support safety compliance, awareness, and customer satisfaction.
  • To be able to provide outstanding presentations to all layers in a customer organization, to cover a smooth information transmission.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or a technical major or equivalent by experience.
  • English and French. Dutch is a plus.
  • Drivers license.
  • Ambition or experience in a Sales/Account Management and in developing new business.
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Act as a team player in the Honeywell Safety Products organization.
