You support the Product Management team in new product launches and assist in managing the product throughout the product lifecycle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Assistant Product Manager, your key responsibilities include:

Supporting new product launches:

o Help managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and assist in defining the product portfolio.

o Participate in and support new product development projects.

o Support to Sales Team in activating the product portfolio.

o Support to marketing/communications team.

Handling operational aspects, such as:

o Understand market trends, competitor actions, changes to offer structure or features, and/or lifecycle stages.

o Manage availability and timely update of product management related metrics, assist in evaluation and document resulting conclusions and actions.

o Support and report on all product management meetings. Monitor progress on action points.

o Manage central information portal so all stakeholders (HQ and BUs) have access to updated information.

o Assist in business plan setup by coordinating collection of relevant data.

Assisting in strategic aspects:

o Analyze position and performance of product portfolio.

o Manage assigned products through various stages of the product lifecycle from commercialization to product maturity and fading out ranges.

Participating in specific domains:

o Ecological products – circular economy: support in representing ecological product portfolio and growth.

o Assortment Management: support in delivering assortment management metrics.

o Product launches at fairs.

o Search a reliable platform to foresee Product Trainings to our sales department.

o Organize Product trainings to our sales department.

o Possible project could be getting certificates: Certification, administration and follow up.

TEAM

You’ll be part of the Product Management Team operating in HQ, Waregem. You will work closely with R&D, Sales Teams worldwide and Management teams.

Together with the Product Manager, you will report to the Head of Product Management.

PROFILE

Our ideal candidate…

· Obtained a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.

· Manages projects in a structured manner and is able to set priorities.

· Has no problem working against (changing) deadlines.

· Is a skilled communicator in English with the ability to liaise with senior level.

· Is eager and motivated to learn and obtain comprehensive knowledge on textile products with interest in the technical side of our products.

· Has the ability to translate technical content into more commercial language.

· Is familiar with Office.
