Your job at our customer

The World Without Disease Accelerator is hiring for a temporary associate scientist/lab technician to support the lung cancer portfolio. This individual will work with the team to screen biomarker antibodies.

General tasks & responsibilities:

- Responsible for conducting antibody screening using established methodology.

- Plans and conducts experiments and analyzes and interprets the results.

- Keeps accurate records of work undertaken.

- Reviews reports for accuracy and completeness.

- Provides documentation to help supervisor with the preparation of technical reports, manuscripts, and other documents that record data or results.

- Writes and updates protocols and reports.

- Participates in the origination or direction of experiments, through the development of methodologies.

Your profile

MS degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, immunology or related field - 2+ years work experience in a research laboratory environment, preferably with extensive handson experience in molecular biology techniques and immunohistochemistry

Skills:

- Familiar with GMP and/or GLP

- Experienced in one or more of the following techniques: SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, IHC, FACS - Interpersonal skills

- good command of speaking and writing in English, ability to communicate effectively with investigational site staff, team members and functional manager.

- Positive attitude, enthusiastic and motivated.

- Team-working

– proactive contribution to local team activities

- Computer literacy

– advanced computer skills and detailed knowledge of a variety of software packages (Microsoft applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, …).

- Managing workloads

– ability to organize multiple priorities and projects and work independently within area of responsibility
