Context of the mission/Objective(s) of the job

• As part of its activities, client is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer.
• This is a full-time assignment whose duration is estimated at least 1 year and which will start as soon as possible.
• Part of the mission may, in consultation with the manager, be done remotely, but a presence on the Gosselies site for a minimum of 2 days a week is mandatory. Additional days of on-site presence may be requested from the consultant, depending on the needs of the department (on an ad hoc basis). As the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, possession of a driving licence and a vehicle will be preferable for travel.
• Since 2015, client has set up, within the Microsoft Azure Cloud, services to meet the needs of differentiation and innovation such as the website and the mobility tools used in the field. Over the past 2 years, the use of PaaS services has accelerated in order to set up a Data platform and an integration platform on which the future bricks of client’ transformation plan will be based. IaaS services have been developed since Q3/2022 and continue to expand according to business expectations.
• Within the Infrastructure and Operations department of the IT department, the Azure team is responsible for managing all the elements related to PaaS and IaaS services used by client.
• It participates in ongoing projects in order, on the basis of the needs expressed, to analyze, define and implement technical architectures in the Azure cloud. It also provides 3rd line support.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Implement, automate and document the selected solution in accordance with existing standards
• Bring operational knowledge to the team composed of cloud architects
• Ensure the transition from the resumption of environments to level 1 support teams Provide level 3 support
• Automate and document the implemented solution in accordance with existing standards
• Feed a future catalog of services
• Participate if necessary in the development of the Cloud technical architecture and its principles in accordance with functional and non-functional needs and in collaboration with the client project and architecture teams Desired profile
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Azure cloud engineer of at least 3 years (Must)
• Good knowledge of governance tools and principles (Azure Policy, Azure RBAC, Subscriptions, Management Groups, etc.) (Must)
• Understanding of the Hub&Spoke model and ability to implement "networking" resources (Virtual Networks, Route Tables, Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups) (Must)
• Good knowledge of Azure Active Directory Domain Services (Must) resource
• Infrastructure as Code: excellent command of editing and producing artifacts (Azure Resource Manager, TerraForm) and scripts (Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell) (Must)
• Azure DevOps (Must):
• Good knowledge and operational mastery of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts (Azure Pipelines)
• Good knowledge of GIT repositories and source code management processes/methods
• Excellent level of French (read, (Must)
• Hands-on experience will be required in order to provide the necessary support to the OPS teams.
