BACK-END DEVELOPER F/H

Scope: Contribute to the integration of an existing application into a new application framework developed by our team. The following technologies will be used:

• Node.js
• NATS or equivalent
• Micro-service architecture
• Docker containerization
• Linux operating system
• Python
• GIT
• Docker
• SQL, No SQL databases

The general project consists of the development of a predictive maintenance solution for frequency drives. Our customer is a manufacturer of industrial frequency drives and wants to extend its portfolio by adding monitoring solutions on top, keeping track of the health of the drive itself as well as the motor behind.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the integration of an existing application into a new application framework developed by our team.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer, at least 3 years
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Hands on experience with technologies like
  • Node.js
  • NATS or equivalent
  • Micro-service architecture
  • Docker containerization
  • Linux operating system
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Minimum BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
