For our client, one of the largest Belgian construction companies specializing in the total approach to projects, we are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator.

Your responsibilities:

  • You manage the modelling team for the creation of implementation models and also model aspects yourself in function of the desired output (e.g. prefab, steel, ...).
  • You take the initiative for quality improvement, knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing in terms of BIM in our projects.
  • You have overall responsibility for the technical and operational functioning of BIM within our projects and are both technically and operationally the point of contact for BIM.
  • You draw up the BIM Protocol and BIM implementation plan and adjust them periodically if necessary. You monitor the execution of the BIM Protocol and BIM Implementation Plan.
  • You test models in terms of quality and consistency with regard to the BIM agreements made, signal inconsistencies, and proactively look for improvements and optimisations.
  • You are responsible for standardisation of the working methods.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in a constructional direction.
  • You preferably have several years of experience as a project manager, site manager with knowledge of the entire construction process.
  • You have technical, analytical and organisational competences.
  • You have insight into data management and the available exchange formats and you know the possibilities, limitations and benefits.
  • You have knowledge of various BIM software programmes such as Revit, Tekla, Solibri, Navisworks, etc.
  • You are passionate about innovation.
