Purpose of the Role:

The Business Manager in our IT company is a dynamic role that focuses on both maintaining and expanding our client base. This position is crucial for driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with existing clients while also actively seeking new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Understand client needs and develop plans to address them
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure contracted services are delivered effectively
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to ensure their satisfaction and to identify additional service opportunities

2. Business Development:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Answer RFPs
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

3. Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop strategies for both existing and potential markets
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ strategies
  • Report on successes and areas needing improvements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field
  • Proven working experience as a Business Manager or relevant role in the IT sector
  • Fluent in French and/or Dutch and English
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficient with in-house CRM software
  • Understanding of IT products and services
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of market dynamics and requirements

Working Conditions:

  • The role may require flexible hours
  • 2-3 days at the office depending on your client meetings, presentations and industry events
