Job Description

You develop and implement adequate sourcing strategy(ies) and contracting, with a short to long term approach, to meet the targets of the businesses.
You are a strong contributor to identify, promote, support, implement and/or lead improvements (costs, outsourcing/insourcing, standardization, innovation from suppliers, supply risks mitigation...).
You are a key contributor in change management program the business is engaged into.
You know and understand the needs and requirements of the internal stakeholders. You assess and challenge such needs considering the opportunities of the market.
You know the supply markets for the various segments you have to source (suppliers, capabilities) and are able to identify the different possible levers to act upon, adapt and improve the situation towards markets and vendors.
You provide the adequate guidance to all stakeholders to get proper implementation of processes and full benefit of contracts.
You build and manage the relationship with suppliers. You Contribute to the supplier performances evaluation & follow up quality for major suppliers and negotiate with suppliers if claim; you bring support for developing supplier’s performance.
You capture and promote suppliers’ innovation for the business benefit and needs short to long term.
You interact with various level of management, from BLM to assistants, and colleagues.

Profile

You have a master’s degree in Purchasing or equivalent (engineer completed with business or purchasing experience.
You have a professional experience up to 7 years, with successful purchasing experience in an international context of various categories. (in case of bachelor’s degree: 10 years professional experience.
You have good commercial and communication skills.
You speak fluent English.
Knowledge of Dutch is a big plus.
You are an open-minded person with an international mind-set.
You are flexible, service oriented, cooperative and resilient to stress.
You have a good knowledge on all procurement matters, category management.
