What type of breed are we looking for? ????
We’re on the hunt for a Category Manager with a passion for trade marketing, a strong analytical spirit and a creative flair to help build our brand here in Belgium. As part of our Benelux organization, you will be building the strategy to bring our brand to life instore and you’ll understand both retailer and shopper behaviour and use this insight to make our marketing strategy even better! When it comes to the right tactics to support business meetings, shopper stopping plans or looking holistically at how we can optimise our range across retail channels you’ll be the key link up between our marketing strategy and our sales teams to perfectly execute and land these initiatives.

What is in your bowl? ????
As a key member of our Benelux team, you’ll be responsible from day one for owning and implementing market-leading strategies to drive trial, cross-sell & upsell in Belgium. You will manage our in-store visibility and activation programs, ensuring we maximize our impact across all retail channels.
???? Data analysis & insights
- Analyze performance data to identify customer and category trends
- Develop category narratives using internal and external data
- Lead monthly deep dives to uncover actionable insights
???? In-store marketing
- Plan display waves and promotional activities
- Design impactful in-store displays and planograms
- Guide field teams on shopper navigation and product placement
???? 4P Strategy
- Develop integrated marketing plans leveraging all 4Ps
- Monitor and optimize pricing and promotional strategies
- Analyze competitive landscape across 4Ps
???? Stakeholders management
- Collaborate with retailers on tailored marketing tools
- Manage budgets and targets effectively
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners
What skills & tricks should you bring? ????
- At least 3-4 years of category experience within an FMCG marketing team, ideally working across multiple shopper channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and compelling category stories
- Experience working with Nielsen / GfK data
- Fluency in Dutch and English is needed. French proficiency is considered a significant +
- Strong communication skills, able to present insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing and optimizing planograms and promotional plans.
- Experience in budgeting and target-setting for marketing activities.
- A true team player with determination, drive, and a hands-on & pro-active attitude.
