Verkoop van bankgaranties door het aanbieden van Garantiefaciliteiten aan geselecteerde prospecten en bestaande belangrijke klanten, waarbij deze zowel lokaal als internationaal worden bediend.

  • End responsibility for the sales activities of EH Surety & Guarantee Belux; 175 customers, portfolio of EUR 1,5 billion
  • Lead the commercial team of EH Surety & Guarantee Belux currently consisting of 3 FTE
  • Build and execute the commercial strategy in a competitive niche market growing and diversifying the customer portfolio in various market segments
  • Improve/ prioritize production and develop skills of direct reports by coaching on the job, providing in-house training and supporting employees with their development plans. Improve their skills through dedicated support and providing them direction and guidance
  • Stimulate a performance driven culture supporting enhancement of the quality of underwriting, information collection and customer interaction/ communication
  • Drive an action driven attitude displaying a high level of prospect and client activity
  • Manage an own portfolio of key customers and prospects, contacts at board of management/ C-level
  • Structuring of large, complex (international) transactions for guarantee facilities of 5 – 250+ million with a variety of clients ranging from mid corporates to multinationals
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners such as brokers and banks (risk participation agreements)
  • Maintain (international) relationships with various stakeholders (EH/ Allianz Group and Group Surety & Guarantee)
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to the head of Benelux Surety & Guarantee, Benelux ExCo, Northern European Region and Group Surety & Guarantee
  • Active member of the Benelux Surety & Guarantee Management Team and Local Credit Committee
  • Signing authority up to EUR 35 million (joint authority)
  • Experienced professional in the financial services industry with a background in structuring and selling complex financial products
  • University degree in Law, Economics, Business Studies or equal
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant roles in a direct- and indirect sales environment such as account management, sales management including team leadership roles
  • Proven and successful track record of structuring complex transactions with large corporations
  • Experienced in acting on C-level
  • Strong risk analysis skills and experience in writing high standard credit proposals
  • Proven experience in driving change in organizations
  • Proactive and creative in execution of business strategy in a corporate environment
  • Strong communication-, coaching- and engagement skills
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to analyze and negotiate legal documentation, act as liaison with corporate legal counsel
  • High energy level, team player leading by example
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, working knowledge of French
