An International company active in Packaging Industry based in Mechelen is currently looking for Commercial Engineer. The company is mostly known for providing global consumer packaging, industrial and supply chain products.

Reporting to the Senior Account Development Manager, the Commercial Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Joining the different projects of packaging machine development& installation especially for clients in FMCG and the plant team running trials.
  • Being the person of contact/ translator/negotiator for the client and the plant.
  • Buying the raw materials, performing the quality check
  • Working together with the technology team, providing advisory and support.
  • Making technical recommendations to help the development of the packaging machinery.
The ideal candidate as Commercial Engineer is required to have master’s degree in engineering, material science or R&D experience in product development or packaging combined with minimum 2 years of industrial experience. Fluency in Dutch and English is required. Training will be provided.
