The role

The Communications Lead Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the integrated communication strategy and implementation of the Communications and Dissemination of EIT Digital’s Strategic Partnerships Projects at pan-European level. The Communications Lead Strategic Partnerships coordinates between the operations team and the Communications and Marketing Team, hold contact with the project partners.

This role is a crucial member of the Marketing and Communications team and reports to the Communications and Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Define and build the long-term communication strategy to position EIT Digital with external stakeholders, strengthen the brand and support the organisation’s business goals;
  • Facilitate the organisation’s strategy to position EIT Digital as ‘Gateway to European Digital Innovation’;
  • Support strategic partnership and activity building with particular focus on communications and stakeholder outreach aspects;
  • Act as liaison with relevant counterparts in the Startegic Partnership Projects (Consortia Partners) with particular focus on communications and EU Affairs;
  • Execute all Marketing, Communications and Dissemination related tasks for the Startegic Partnership Projects;
  • Manage all Marketing, Communications and Dissemination related budgets for the Startegic Partnership Projects;
  • Ensure the relevant KPIs are met;
  • Ensure flawless and timely reporting;
  • Focus on operation excellence and continuous improvement through Best-in-Class practices and benchmarks.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in marketing or communications preferably in an EU tech-based organisation;
  • Proven track record of working in distributed matrix organisations, or on very complex projects (More than 10 consortia members);
  • Strong communication background with proven high standard of written skills, presentation skills;
  • Rack record in Project reporting, KPI monitoring;
  • Autonomous and proactive, as well as a natural team player;
  • Proven experience with writing, editing and crafting content on social media;
  • Outstanding design capabilities, great eye for design;
  • Can do attitude;
  • Accustomed to a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation;
  • Willingness to travel.

Languages

Excellent command of English is required. Knowledge of other EU languages is considered an asset.

Place of employment

Place of employment is at the EIT Digital HQ in Brussels, Belgium.
