Main purpose of the role:

This role aims to govern and manage the transformation and support of the BU site’s Operation Technologies Infrastructure assets and control system applications in order to deliver a reliable and secure platform for manufacturing operations, and sustain Cyber Security standards & compliance. Support design and execution of the Control & Information System (C&IS) elements for strategic new projects and productivity initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for governing the specifications for Control System hardware, software and OT network infrastructure in the sites, and ensuring compliance to all OT Cyber Security policies.
  • Govern the maintenance and testing of site OT disaster recovery (from Cyber attack and physical harm)
  • Provide technical leadership and governance for strategic site project implementations.
  • Plan system improvements and upgrades to maintain the investments, increase efficiency, and ensure lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Build capability into the sites to support and sustain the critical systems, and provide technical support resource as required.
  • Manage relationships with external system suppliers and partners to deliver performance and cost improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Comprehensive technical experience of PLC, SCADA systems and Historians
  • Foundational knowledge of networks, servers (including VMs), and Microsoft operating systems
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of manufacturing systems, processes and applications
  • Minimum of 5-year experience of maintaining PLC control systems, SCADA and networks in a 24x7 FMCG operating environment (Category Engineering experience is a preferred asset)
  • Proven track record in multi-discipline control and I.T. system project management
