Manpower Horecais looking for anoperationally strong cookfor the prep kitchen of a delivery food restaurant in the heart ofAntwerp.

Job Description:


Your range of tasks is very diverse:


You are responsible for the ‘mise en place’ (prep) for the service and during the service you work with the team in afast paceto finish all orders.


You always have an eye forqualityandhygieneduring the whole food preparation process!


In theopen kitchenyou do not stand around shouting, but you work in a veryorganizedway.


You work in thecoldand thehotkitchen.


You take theleadin the kitchenand ensure that everyone in the team contributes to asmooth shift.


You ensure that the dishes are prepared indetailbefore they are passed on.


Candidate Profile:


Who are we looking for?


Do you staycalmwhen the heat is on (coup de feu)?

Do you have aneat and cleanappearance?

Do you haveexperiencein a brasserie or restaurant kitchen?

Do you have good knowledge of theHACCP rules and can you ensure that everyone in the team obeys them?

Can you communicate fluently inDutchorEnglish?

Can youcommunicate constructivelywith your colleagues even during busy shifts?


Do you have theheart in the right placeand aburning passion for the spicy kitchen?

You will be working in awarm and loving team, where wework hardbut also have alot of fun!

You will always work in theafternoonsandeveningsand atweekends(no service breaks).


You workfull-timewith acontract of indefinite term(after a positive trial period).

Your salary is € 2300 Bruto / Month, butnegotiable, depending on yourexperienceandperformancein the kitchen.
