You will mainly be working on developing customer propositions in the segment for medium to large companies. Without claiming to be complete, this involves:

  • Based on a thorough understanding of customer needs, defining & improving Telenet Business Customer Value propositions. This includes, among other things, determining the positioning of the products with regards to the customer, pricing, features & the guidelines for the experience throughout the complete customer journey.
  • Managing the performance of the Wifi & LAN business, specifically: profit and loss account of your products, budgeting, realization of the budget and EBITDA of the product line and elaborating business cases
  • Managing the product life cycle, and as such defining the roadmap, identifying and reacting to changing customer needs & market trends through portfolio and/or solution optimization.
  • Being a customer and market advocate by acting as the go-to-person with regards to the solution and business insights related to the solution & market; ensuring & maintaining customer and market interaction on a qualitative and quantitative basis; building thought leadership by providing insights of the solutions/market dynamics to the internal organization.
  • The management of the competitive environment (identifying/analyzing competitors and their offer)
  • Realizing the roll-out of the approved solutions (including development by IT / Engineering / Security operations / etc.).

Co-creation is a central element at Telenet Business. You will therefore also be asked to:

  • Co-create and define marketing strategies including product orientation: i.e. target group, value proposition, pricing, ...
  • Co-create a consistent, joint market story for the entire customer segment
  • Bringing ideas for improvements forward
  • Provide solution input & business case to corporate & portfolio strategy based on detected customer needs
  • Shape the sales strategy.

What does the Customer Value Propositions team do?

The CVP team plays a crucial role in shaping and realizing the strategy to achieve the growth of Telenet Business. More specifically, we prepare & develop the customer value propositions for small, medium-sized & large companies (ranging from, for example, medium sized service companies up to and including large banks & hospitals), and thereby define the customer’s experience throughout the entire customer journey at Telenet Business.

What knowledge & skills are needed?

· You have deep customer understanding & business analytics skills (market research, customer insights, anticipating customer needs and opportunities).

· You have in-depth knowledge of the Wifi & LAN market space, including competitors & potential partners and you are able to guide the company to the optimal competitive position with maximum growth potential

· You understand value proposition & product design best practices and methodology (value proposition & product design, product positioning & storytelling, roadmap design & prioritization, user story & requirement writing).

· You know product life cycle management (product performance management, product maintenance & prioritization)

· You have business & financial acumen (business & product strategy, business casing, Profit&Loss management , budget and CAPEX ( Capital Expenditure) management).

· You understand market orientation (market dynamics & competitive landscape, market trends & knowledge and product (area) knowledge).

· You understand sales & marketing dynamics (sales buying clock, buyer journey, launch planning, creating brand awareness)

· You have strong strategic skills and a helicopter view in order to build a comprehensive strategy taking into account a large number of building blocks

· You are experienced with project management (planning & time management) and journey design, problem solving & creative thinking.

Experience level

  • Master degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • NL – EN – FR
  • Customer focus with strong affinity for technology and innovation
  • Experience in stakeholder management with various departments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business leaders
