Spring Professional is looking for a freelance ‘Customer Value Proposition Product Manager’ for our client, one of the largest energy producing companies on the Belgian Market.

Mission
As a ‘Customer Value Proposition Product Manager’ you will be part of the Customer Value Proposition team, where you are responsible for identifying opportunities in the lower end of the SME market and ensuring the right offer can be presented to those customers. You will mainly be working on developing customer propositions in the segment forsmall to medium companies.
In this high-visibility position, youidentify & monitor market trends, competitive movements and customer needs in order to continuously tweak & optimize your portfolio.
Key responsibilities of the ‘Customer Value Proposition Product Manager’:
- Based on a thorough understanding of customer needs, defining & improving the Business Customer Value propositions of our client.
- Managing theproduct life cycle, and as such defining the roadmap, identifying, and reacting to changing customer needs & market trends through portfolio and/or solution optimization.
- Being a customer and market advocate by acting as the go-to-person with regards to the solution and business insights related to the solution & market; ensuring & maintaining customer and market interaction on a qualitative and quantitative basis; building thought leadership by providing insights of the solutions/market dynamics to the internal organization.
- The management of the competitive environment (identifying/analyzing competitors and their offer).
- Coordinating solution development & picking up ownership.
This is how we see our ‘Customer Value Proposition Product Manager’:
- At leastfive years’ experience in product management and preparing propositions, preferably focused on B2B.
- Fluent in Dutch or English.
- A marketing profile with a strong affinity for technology who can translate complex technology into customer language.
- Understanding of market orientation such as competitive research, market trends & knowledge.
- Strong stakeholder management and team player skills.
- Empathy for the customer: interactions with the customer and the market give you energy!
- Positive attitude and open to feedback.
- Always looking for ways to improve the organization and/or yourself.
- Hands-on, proactive, problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Flexible and happy to contribute towards a positive working environment.
