Role: Cybersecurity Project Manager – Operations

???? Location: Namur (with travel across Wallonia required)

???? Duration: 13 months (Full Time) Start: ASAP - End: 01/10/2026

A leading public transportation organization in Wallonia is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager for a critical, full-time, 13-month contract role based in Namur.

This is a hands-on operational role perfect for a project manager who is deeply technical and can drive real-world security implementations. You will be the key link between the cybersecurity strategy and the technical teams making it happen.

Your Mission:

• Translate the cybersecurity roadmap into operational action plans for infrastructure teams.
• Coordinate technical implementation of security measures (hardening, patching, monitoring, IAM, vulnerability management).
• Plan & prioritize security work within ongoing projects and system maintenance.
• Identify resource/skill gaps and propose solutions (training, new hires).
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational security for technical teams.
• Produce deliverables: execution plans, progress reports, and security dashboards.
• Directly contribute to NIS2 compliance certification preparation.

You Are the Ideal Candidate If You Have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science.
• Mandatory recent experience (this year) as an IT Project Manager and in Cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of operational IT environments (systems, networks, cloud, endpoints).
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity measures, risk management, and the NIS2 framework.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate cross-functional actions.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent French (mandatory) - both spoken and written.

⚠️ Important On-Site Requirements:

• Core hours of presence are 9:00 to 11:45 and 14:00 to 16:00.
• Workday must start between 7:30-9:00 and end between 16:00-19:00.
