Your future job

Our Squad – Data Privacy & Ethics (DPE) - is part of the Centre of Expertise Data Governance, one of the most advanced data governance program in Belgium. Our team is driven by new ways of working, including Agile methodology and flex working. The squad is composed of “Data Governance Experts” playing the roles of Data Privacy & Ethics Experts, Risk Managers and functional analysts.

As a Data Governance expert in Privacy and Ethics (DPE), you will deliver the following services:

• The assessments of DPE-related risks in various contexts (projects, outsourcing initiatives, change of existing solutions, etc.). This is performed through Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• The management and reporting of the risks identified:
• proposal and follow-up of mitigation measures,
• risk’s reporting structured and formulated in accordance with BNP Paribas Group standards and best practices in this context.
• The delivery of DPE advisory and consultancy services to the BNPPF organization.
• The delivery of services in the context of ‘data subject rights’ requests.
• The support in the management of incidents (personal data breaches).
• The delivery of awareness, training and communication support to the BNPPF organization.

In this context, you will also:

• Enable a 4-pillars objective such as client satisfaction, operational excellence, data protection in our regulatory environment and future-proof digital platform
• Ensure that the needed DPE requirements are understood by both technical and non-technical people,
• Deliver process documentation and supporting material (tooling, templates, training) for Data Privacy & Ethics processes for both expert and non-expert audiences,
• Understand drivers and priorities, with regard to business, security, and regulatory requirements,
• Handling sensitive matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

• You have a bachelor or master degree (i.e. in law, marketing, economics, communication) or a first successful experience in data such as data governance, data quality or data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, …
• You can demonstrate a strong interest or passion for data, privacy & ethics, risk management, digital transformation and related topics.

Your skills

• You demonstrate strong development skills, you are rigorous, analytical and a creative problem solver
• You put customer first and have very good communication skills
• You iterate and adapt quickly but develop sustainable deliverables and solutions
• You thrive in a team environment, happily sharing your knowledge and insights
• You are fluent in English and proficient in French and / or Dutch
