Data Scientist / Analyst - Fintech (Ghent)

Our client within the fintech sector near Ghent are looking for a data scientist/analyst to join their growing analytics team. They provide solutions for the in depth critical reflection on market trends and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with key stakeholders to help translate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

• Perform in-depth risk analyses that allow direct advice on portfolio management to clients, with a balance between risk and return.

• Create innovative reports and whitepapers to share our findings with investors and stakeholders. You will also present these analyses yourself and discuss them with investors.

• Working with the wider team, providing clients with accurate market intelligence

Requirements:

• Strong academic background. Ideally a masters in a related field (operations research, finance, econometrics, mathematics etc.)

• Strong SQL skills • Knowledge of PowerBI is ideal but not required

• Excellent quantitative modelling skills

• Experience with stakeholder management is a plus but not required

Rewards:

• Up to €80,000 per annum (D.O.E)

• Travel allowance

• 3 days per week in the office
