Our client, a leading Software, Information, and Communication Technologies company, with offices around the globe, is looking for a Data Specialistto join their innovative team in Brussels, Belgiu,. They are a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations, and multinational companies, research, and academic institutes.

Job Type: Contract/Consultant

Max Daily Rate: 540 EUR

Requirements

Ideal candidates should have:
  • University degree combined with 9 years of professional experience in IT
  • Experience in advanced data and document mining technologies: Elastic Search, NLP, semantic search, ontologies, ML
  • Experience in advanced business intelligence, data dashboarding/visualization tools
  • Hands-on experience (design and development) with open-source software packages implementing advanced data and document mining capabilities
  • Hands-on experience (design and development) with system integration using: ESB, Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, JSON
  • Data and document protection with digital signature and encryption is an asset
  • Knowledge of data and document exchange formats and IT infrastructure admin knowledge is an asset
  • Very good communication skills e.g. giving presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral
Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of advanced data and document mining features, reporting and visualization features, on top of secure data and document exchange
  • Design, implementation and optimization of required integration architecture
  • Draft technical documentation, summaries, statistics, reports and briefing notes
  • Contribute to drafting strategic documents
