Vasco supplies high quality and internationally awarded designer radiators that are characterized by the combination of top design and functionality. The quality brands for panel radiators are Superia in Belgium and Brugman in Germany, France, Poland and the Netherlands. Besides radiators, Vasco is also a major player in the field of ventilation, heat pumps and underfloor heating. The production plants are located in Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. Vasco, with headquarters in Dilsen (BE), has about 500 employees and is part of the Swiss Arbonia Group.

In order to realize its growth ambitions, Vasco is looking for a motivated development engineer for the Dilsen head office:

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER HVAC & CONTROLS

Duties and responsibilities

• You will actively participate in the design, development and realization of new market-oriented products.
• You focus mainly on electrical controls and software & hardware for cloud applications.
• You develop concepts that optimally meet the required technical specifications, quality, design and unique selling points. You evaluate this critically with the project team.
• In consultation with product management (market demand), R&D (construction) and production (manufacturability) you substantiate proposals with a technical study that forms the basis for the final product choice.
• You help assess the specifications of components and technical tests for the selection.
• You help determine the right choice of components through contacts with suppliers.
• You work closely with the R&D, product management and production departments.
• You report directly to the R&D manager.

Profile

• You have a master’s degree in engineering or a higher technical education.
• You have experience with the design process of technical products.
• You have a healthy dose of creativity and a good technical knowledge, you can independently conduct in-depth technical research.
• You have a thorough knowledge of controls and cloud applications.
• You are a team player who is well connected to his broader environment and communicates fluently.
• You are solution and result oriented.
• You have a good knowledge of English (French and German are a plus).
